Alexander Robinson, LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker / Pronouns: He/Him

My name is Alex (he/him) and I am a licensed social worker from Baltimore, Maryland. I have been privileged to work with a variety of client populations, from young children and teens to justice-involved adults, in various locations including community-based sites, public schools, and vocational settings. Most recently, I worked as a Therapist for a Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team, specializing in assertive engagement and community outreach with treatment-resistant individuals and those with personality disorders.

I utilize a variety of treatment approaches and modalities, but I believe therapeutic change begins through the development of positive relationships with clients. I provide affirming and empathetic care to those who have suffered from any and all forms of intersecting trauma; in particular, I have an affinity for clients who identify as LGBTQ and those who are members of underserved racial and ethnic groups. I am flexible and creative with my treatment approach, and willing to work with clients to develop a holistic, person-centered approach that will best suit each person’s treatment goals.
