“Tell Me Your Story”

Allison is a native Marylander, and has lived in Annapolis for 10 years. She studied anthropology and sociology at The College of Wooster in Ohio, which helped her to appreciate the interconnectedness of everyone’s story. Her graduate degree is from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. It was here that she learned that physical, emotional, and spiritual health go hand in hand. Allison believes that mental health is an ongoing process, a journey, and can be assisted by accessing inner strengths and creativity. It is also crucial to achieve a balance between mind and body. Another important factor is being open to nature and all that it has to offer.

My therapeutic practice offers walking and collage therapy as well as traditional psychotherapy. My practice specializes in (but is not limited to) life and relationship issues, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, and gay and lesbian concerns.

When I am not working I like to spend time outside, crafting, baking, knitting, or quilting. I also enjoy Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing. Find my blog at:

Tell me your story. I want to learn about you. Together we will find the best path for you to walk.
