Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Atola Idika, PMHNP-BC, MSN joined Oasis in early 2021. Previously, she worked at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where she was awarded the “Good Catch Award,” a citation given to staff members who identify potential patient safety concerns before they happen. In addition to being a PNHNP-BC, MSN, she is also a certified Forensic Nursing Examiner.
Atola has been featured in the Medstar Southern Maryland Bulletin, a quarterly magazine distributed by Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital Center about health-related issues and the services offered in their medical system.
She enjoys traveling and cooking and is passionate about supporting the Good Samaritan Food Pantry.
