Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical
Kathy Mabe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland. For several years, Kathy has been providing substance abuse treatment and mental health counseling to individuals and groups at various agencies throughout the state. Kathy has also completed internships at Spring Grove Psychiatric Hospital and was the Addictions Coordinator at Springfield Psychiatric Hospital.
As a therapist, I feel that providing a safe and non-judgmental environment is the cornerstone for building the therapeutic bond. Establishing a nurturing environment enables exploration of fears and insecurities, which results in self empowerment.
