Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
There are many situations in life that can seem overwhelming and difficult to manage and I believe that it is not necessary for anyone to feel alone when faced with life’s challenges. I am interested in the well being and uniqueness of each client and seek to provide a warm, safe, and supportive, environment to explore their challenges and struggles.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I attended Towson State University where I completed a BS degree in Psychology and a MA degree in Clinical Psychology. I received a PhD in General Psychology from Capella University.
I began working as a human services professional after completing my BS degree and have over 25 years of experience. I have been a licensed clinical professional counselor for 14 years with experience providing counseling in a variety of settings to include outpatient, inpatient, correctional, and military programs. Specialty areas include working with adults who are experiencing difficulty adjusting to life challenges, mood disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and bereavement, substance use disorders, domestic violence, and adult survivors of childhood trauma.
