Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner

I am a dual-board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from SUNY Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2004. Shortly thereafter, I obtained my master’s degree while working in an acute care setting for four years. I graduated and obtained my certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2007. I have worked in internal medicine, family practice, and urgent care.

Through my almost 14 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I have seen the impact mental health conditions have on my patients’ overall physical health. To provide a more comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care, I pursued postgraduate studies in psychiatric mental health. In December 2020, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With both certifications and experience, I have become more proficient in psychiatry and family practice.
