Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Diane has been a Registered Nurse for over 26 years and has enjoyed caring for a variety of acutely and chronically ill patients across the lifespan. Diane earned a master’s degree in nursing education from Wilmington University, a Doctor of Nursing Practice from American Sentinel, and a post-master’s certificate in psychiatric mental health.
As a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, Diane realized her passion for supporting those with mental illness and substance misuse while caring for forensic patients, and then shifted into outpatient mental health. She strives to be an empathetic provider, recognizing that each person is unique and deserves an individualized, patient-focused path towards better mental health and well-being. Using Motivational Interviewing and medication management, Diane hopes to improve the mental health of those individuals seeking care.
