Founder Emeritis
Juliet Goozh, PhD is the co-founder of GBCC Behavioral Health and Oasis Rapid Care. For the first thirty years, I worked on guiding GBCC/Oasis to provide comprehensive mental health services in nine office locations and telehealth throughout Maryland and Northern Virginia. GBCC/Oasis was founded with a deep commitment to empathic, high-quality care and a belief that the best outcomes come from clinicians who are supported, connected, and continually learning. Collaboration, education, and teamwork remain at the heart of the company’s culture.
Although I have personally stepped away from day-to-day management, I continue to work with a small number of clients. I look forward to putting more focus on traveling and backpacking as I move towards full retirement. It has been an honor and privilege to walk alongside so many people throughout my career, as well as to create a safe and affirming environment for both staff and clients. GBCC/Oasis remains committed to the same standards of thoughtful, ethical, and compassionate care that guided its founding. I am so glad that GBCC/Oasis will continue to be a place where people feel genuinely heard, respected, and cared for.
