Kevin completed his doctorate degrees in Clinical and Health Psychology from Georgia School of Professional Psychology in 2012. He has been working full time at GBCC since 2013. He got married in 2015 and is now the father of two great kids. When not playing outside with his kids, his self care involves music, meditation, martial arts, and mountain biking.
As the Director of LGBTQ Affirming Care at GBCC, Kevin’s role is to make sure that GBCC is providing the best possible care to clients who have gender and/or sexual diversity as part of their story. That means training our clinicians, training our admin staff, providing an affirming office and therapy environment, increasing access to care, advising on policies and procedures that impact our LGBTQ clients and providers, and providing affirming care to his own therapy clients. Kevin started his professional work providing affirming care in 2008, training and then volunteering with Positive Impact in Atlanta, GA.
