Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor

I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Duquesne University. I have been in the helping profession for the last 7 years. In my previous roles, I gained experience working with individuals of all ages and diverse diagnoses. I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interview (MI) and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) with my clients. I am a firm believer that we are fully equipped to reach our maximum potential, but unforeseen circumstances can hinder us from maximizing our capacity. My goal is to assist individuals in these situations find healing and growth through their experiences by teaching, providing insights and healthy tools to reach their fullest potential.

I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, perinatal and infertility issues. I recognize the difficulties women experience during these times and how lonely this can feel at times. My desire is to engage with women struggling with these issues, provide a warm, non-judgmental and safe space to process their emotions and provide effective coping skills to manage their stress and daily struggles. I am a first generation immigrant who also enjoys working with other immigrants who are struggling with identity and cultural issues.
