Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) who currently works with adults. I am from Delaware, where I received my Master’s from Wilmington University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and my Bachelor’s from University of Delaware’s psychology program, minoring in Human Development & Family Studies and Theatre Studies. My Theatre Studies background helps support some clients with approaching traumatic experiences.

I have a background in helping primary and secondary survivors of sexual abuse process their trauma and the trauma of their loved ones in outpatient and prison settings. I have provided consultation to teachers and therapy to students helping bring suicide and homicide awareness and crisis intervention. My therapy focus is to help individuals with processing trauma, stress and anxiety, coping with grief/loss, depression, self-esteem, enhancing effective communication and maintaining boundaries in all forms of relationships.

I use techniques from the following methods: Client/Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative & Gestalt Therapy. I have a background of being a student-athlete which supports my belief in holistic wellness and how that plays a role in keeping our mental health while balancing what life may present to us. I look forward to helping others get to a point where they feel more in control of their life and decision making skills. We’ve got this!
