What is Telehealth?

Telehealth allows you to see your provider from the comfort of your own space using a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet connection and camera.Telehealth affords you the opportunity to obtain services with privacy and flexibility while protecting your health.

Privacy
See a provider from the comfort of your own space. Our staff maintain a private space for your visit and you'll not have to sit in a waiting room with other clients. Our platform is 100% HIPAA compliant for your confidentiality.

Flexibility
You'll have access to more than 50 providers across three locations without the hassle of driving in traffic or long distances to an office.

Protect your health
Sick or reduced ability to fight infection? Telehealth offers contactless mental health services which is especially ideal during cold and flu season.

Seeing myself on video makes me uncomfortable, is there any way to have phone sessions? Expand

At this time, videoconferencing is required to provide telehealth services. However, we understand people have differing levels of comfort seeing themselves on video. Our providers can walk you through options to hide your view. Additionally people are often surprised how quickly their initial discomfort decreases during the video session once they are engaged in treatment.

Can I do in-person sessions? Expand

GBCC continues to monitor best health practices from local, state, and federal health organizations and does not recommend in-person sessions at this time.

Does my insurance cover telehealth? Expand

Telehealth is covered by most insurance plans! Our staff can help verify your benefits. We always recommended contacting your insurance to verify coverage. We also accept self-pay.

What are the requirements for telehealth? Expand

Clients only need a device with a camera (computer, smartphone, tablet), internet connection and a private space!

Is telehealth appropriate for all clients? Expand

Although telehealth offers great convenience and flexibility for clients, not all problems and treatment modalities are compatible with telehealth. Our administrative and clinical staff can work with you on whether it will work for you.
