Celebrating 14 Years
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor / Pronouns: She/Her
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who joined GBCC in March 2010. I earned my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology at Towson University in 2006. I conduct individual psychotherapy with adults (18 and older) in the Glen Burnie and Timonium offices.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an important part of the therapy process and I strive to provide a warm and safe space for people to explore the issues that brought them in to counseling. I am committed to being culturally sensitive in the care I provide. I utilize an integrative, holistic and individualized approach, working with people to identify goals and make changes that are meaningful and important to them. I strive to empower individuals in therapy, from the perspective that as adults we are all responsible for our own health, happiness, and well-being.
I specialize in working with individuals on issues related to life transitions, adjustment to changes, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self esteem, stress management, women’s issues, sexuality, grief/loss. Providing affirming care to LGBTQ individuals is important to me and I am always growing my competencies in this area.
