Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical / Pronouns: She/Her
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) with a Masters of Social Work degree from Salisbury University. I have 6 years of hands on experience specializing in providing individual therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults in outpatient community mental health and school settings. I specialize in supporting individuals aged 12-60 with managing symptoms of anxiety & depression; navigating life transitions, gender identity, sexuality, stress management & communication issues – as well as coping with past traumatic experiences.
Through my clinical experience, I’ve created strong therapeutic relationships with individuals of various ages, backgrounds, and life experiences which has helped me develop the foundation of my therapeutic approach. I utilize an individualized approach and incorporate a range of techniques to best meet my client’s specific needs.
My goal as a therapist is to empower clients to make desired changes in their lives by integrating past experiences, understanding & exploring emotions and behaviors, and allowing each client to be the guide to their own healing. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is collaborative and that each individual is the expert of their own experience. I strive to be authentic, non-judgmental, open and empathetic in order to provide my clients with a safe and supportive space to explore themselves and create the changes they wish to see in their lives.
