Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical / Pronouns: They/Their and She/Her

I am a Queer-identified, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I use she/her or they/them pronouns. I practice an intersectional, non-condemning, strengths-based approach to therapy, and believe it is necessary for the therapeutic space we create to be a collaborative experience in order to build brave spaces and identify your most affirming supports. I work with individuals ages 12-60, and couples. My areas of expertise include supporting adolescents and adults around depression, anxiety, gender identity, sexuality, reproductive health, coping with trauma experiences, self-harm, body acceptance work, and reducing stigma around mental health experiences.

I strive to be authentic, accepting, and empathetic in the therapeutic relationship and believe it is a partnership, recognizing that you are the expert on your experience. I hope to create a space where we can focus on the ways you have survived and coped through your experiences and explore ways to build off those existing coping tools to serve you better in the present. Our time together will be centered on identifying your current concerns and exploring possibilities for change and growth at your own pace.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my pets, being outdoors, discovering new things, trying new creative projects and writing.

I graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a Master’s degree in Social Work. In Chicago, I worked with young adults and adolescents in community program settings providing supportive services including crisis intervention and therapeutic interventions and worked with folks of all ages in a group practice setting. I relocated to Baltimore, Maryland in July 2019 and have been supporting youth in residential placement prior to joining GBCC Counseling Centers.
