Chelsea Hart, LCSW-C

Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical

The difficulties we face in life can bring out the strongest and weakest parts of ourselves to the point of unrecognition. My primary and most important goal is creating what every person needs- a safe, stable, and rewarding relationship. My style is non-judgemental, open, approachable (and at times humorous). My clients will not find a stale or sterile clinical experience like on tv. I draw from a number of modalities including relational, emotion-focused, cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and dialectical behavioral. I treat a wide variety of issues ranging from major life transitions, self-esteem issues, boundary work, generalized anxiety, depression, relationship/marital issues, attachment work and childhood healing. My speciality is assisting clients in creating healthier and happier relationships with themselves and others around them.

I am a LCSW-C, receiving my Masters in Social Work from The University of Maryland School of Social Work in Baltimore, Maryland. I received my Bachelors in Counseling and Human Services from The University of Scranton. I have worked with clients ages 8-80 in outpatient mental health clinics, schools and hospital settings. I now see clients ages 21-65 and older adolescents on a case-by-case basis.
