Chelsea Hart, LCSW-C

Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical

Chelsea Hart is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) striving to help adult individuals transform their lives through relationship. Chelsea aims to help clients understand the fundamental idea that people are the sum of their relationships with others, their environments, and most importantly, themselves. Rather than using one specific modality, or as Chelsea would say, “throwing a book of psychological babble at you”, she focuses on creating the one thing every person needs- a safe, stable, and rewarding relationship. Chelsea assists in helping clients work through attachment based traumas, childhood trauma, destructive patterns of behavior, negative thinking, boundary work, anxiety, depression, major life transitions and helping clients achieve healthier and happier relationships with others.

Chelsea’s therapeutic style is non-judgemental, open, approachable, natural (and at times humorous). Clients will not find a stale, sterile clinical experience like on TV.

In more clinical aspects, Chelsea is a board approved licensed therapist in the State of Maryland. Chelsea received her Bachelors in Counseling and Human Services from The University of Scranton, and her Masters in Clinical Behavioral Health at The University of Maryland School of Social Work. Chelsea has vast experience working with children to geriatric age in schools, hospital settings and community mental health centers. Chelsea now sees adults ages 18 and older, and teens on a case-by-case basis.
