Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor / Pronouns: He/Him

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. In my career I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety settings within public health, mental health treatment, substance use treatment, inpatient treatment and private practice.
While I have trainings in a number of therapeutic models I primarily utilize existential approaches in therapy since their tenants are fairly universal in nature and relate well to the experiences of most people. These tenants focus on an individual’s search for meaning, fears of loss, feelings of isolation and the foundations of hope that we build for ourselves.
I have had the privilege to work with a wide range of clients in terms of age, gender, race, social economic status, and acuity of symptoms. While everyone has something unique to bring to therapy I find the most fulfillment working with couples, those dealing with issues regarding their sexuality, first responders (police, firefighters, EMT’s), individuals recovering from trauma, and people dealing with concerns with technology such as video game or online addiction. Regardless of what you are looking for from therapy my aspiration is to provide an open and welcoming environment where a collaborative relationship can be built to assist you in exploring concerns that you have in your life.
