Psychology Associate / Pronouns: She/Her

I am a Psychology Associate and have extensive experience providing individual therapy for adolescents and adults, and couples therapy. My clinical focus includes, but not limited to trauma, PTSD, marital and/or family conflict, grief and loss, anxiety, intimacy enhancement and overall psychological wellness. I facilitate psychological growth using an integrative approach, primarily incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and an attachment-based framework.

I am remarkably familiar working with people who have experienced dysfunctional family relationships and the impact of these experiences. I also provide psychological evaluations, cognitive and/or personality assessments to children and adults.

I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University and am a dedicated member of the American Psychological Association and the Division of Military Psychology. I am a retired Veteran with 21 years of service in the Army and Coast Guard. I also have a law enforcement background which motivates me to help enhance the psychological wellness of our first responders and their families.

My philosophy is that psychological wellness is necessary in all that we do. Therefore, the importance of psychotherapy is equivalent to the care we show our body when enduring illness or injury. The awareness and skills developed from therapy continue to promote resilience and benefit you through many of life’s experiences.
