Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Kathryn is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) trained to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients across the lifespan. She is a compassionate provider who is committed to delivering care that is empathetic, non-judgmental and patient-centered. Kathryn offers evidence-based treatment that is individualized to the unique needs of each patient with medication management. She has a special interest in the treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma related disorders.
Kathryn completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. She then received a second Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. Kathryn has professional experience working with both children and adults in various inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. She joins GBCC from Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
