My name is Linda Nnaji and I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in the state of Maryland with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Trinity University located in Washington, DC.
I have had the privilege to work in a variety of settings including substance use treatment, private practice, and outpatient treatment. Each working environment has afforded me the opportunity to work with a diverse population of clients and establish individualized treatment specific to their needs. I have experience utilizing Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with my clients. I have assisted patients struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, trauma, grief/loss, and relationship dynamics.
My goal while working with my clients is to establish a genuine therapeutic rapport that allows the development of healthy coping skills and the achievement of therapeutic goals.
