Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor / Pronouns: She/Her
My name is Shari Cain (she/her pronouns) and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I received my Masters of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Argosy University, D.C. and my Bachelors of Art in Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park. I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology and offer LGBTQ+ affirming care. My focus is on helping others recognize their own perception of the world and how it affects their interactions and responses to it. I help others to identify their own full potential so that they may live fully and truly.
Ideally, you are seeking guidance on how to become your most authentic self and be able to help improve your life. We all have traumas, everyday stressors, familial and relationship conflicts that have affected us in various ways. If you’re feeling anxious, depressed, conflicted or a combination of many emotions; learning how to manage and cope with those emotions can help significantly in reaching goals you set for yourself.
Recognizing you want change is the first step in making that change. No problem is too small to seek assistance in overcoming. You will be able to dig deep and pull out your strengths to reach the goals you set for yourself.
