I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia. I joined GBCC in October 2020. I earned my Masters degree in Community Counseling at The University of Mississippi in 2013 and completed my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at the College of William and Mary in 2017. I provide Services primarily through teletherapy and am stationed out of the Timonium Office.

I believe that when faced with challenges in life it takes significant courage to admit that there is a need to explore those challenges and ask for help. Utilizing an Adlerian framework, I focus on helping you explore the purposefulness of your behaviors and explore how your problems have originated and are effecting you today. I work with you to understand how you view yourself, others, and the world around you. We will work together to explore where things aren’t working and help you move more towards a life worth living.

With more than five years working in the mental health field I have supported many adults, college students, adolescents, and families. I have supported clients struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, learning disabilities, personality disorders, addictions, self-esteem and life transition issues and many other mental health issues and diagnosis.

In addition to Adlerian methods, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered approaches. Ultimately, I focus on encouraging clients to grow, connect, and feel a sense of belonging. If I may be a good fit for you, please contact me.
