Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner / Pronouns: She/Her
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) and Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC). I earned my post master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate and Doctor of Nursing Practice at Drexel University. My Master of Education with School Counseling focus and advance counseling certificate were earned at Mississippi State University and Loyola University of Maryland, respectively. My training equipped me with the knowledge and skills required to care for patients/clients across the lifespan with a variety of mental health conditions. I completed my nurse practitioner clinical training at Baltimore Veteran Affairs (VA) hospital. Person-centered care is at the core of my patient care philosophy. Collaboration is a key component of the care I provide.
I often describe myself as a lifelong learner. I relish the opportunity to learn. An area of interest and learning is substance use disorders and addiction.
